What's free and what's Plus

Everything you enter is free, and so is what it tells you about where you stand. The tools that rank your options, and the detailed breakdowns behind them, are Plus — which isn't for sale yet.

The estimate, the full calculator, and every section of your plan are free and stay free — along with your verdict, your chance of success, the wellness badge, the retirement path chart, and a note when something in your life or the rules changes your plan. Plus is the rest: the detailed charts, the year-by-year table, every Compare tool, the Strategy page with each move measured in dollars, and those notes with the numbers in them. Plus isn't for sale yet; until it is, the detailed charts and the Compare tools are open to everyone as a preview.

Plus will also add things that don't exist yet: a Strategy page that ranks your moves by what each is worth, a panel for pulling those levers, custom market assumptions, those change notes with the numbers in them, and a seat for your partner. You'll see some of these as locked previews inside your plan — a preview means built enough to show you, not finished.

"Use this" — applying a ranked option straight to your plan — is planned for Plus and isn't built for the Compare tools today.

Nothing is for sale yet, so there's nothing to cancel and no card to enter. If you want to know when that changes, there's a toggle on your account page.
