What's free and what's Plus

Everything you enter is free, and so is what it tells you about where you stand. Plus adds the tools that rank your options, and the detailed breakdowns behind them.
The estimate, the full calculator, and every section of your plan are free and stay free. So are your verdict, your chance of success, the wellness badge, the retirement path chart, a note when something in your life or the rules changes your plan, and the Social Security claiming age tool. Plus is the rest: the detailed charts, the year-by-year table, the other Compare tools, the full list of moves on the Compare page, ranked by what each is worth in dollars, a Partner/Spouse seat with its own login to your plan, and the same notes with your dollar figures in them.
Some of Plus is still being built. That includes your own market assumptions in place of the historical ones, separate inflation rates for education and healthcare, and a reduced future Social Security benefit. You'll see those inside your plan as locked previews. They're built far enough to show you, but not finished.
On a Compare tool, Use this puts a ranked option straight into your plan.
Plus costs $100 a year, and a Partner/Spouse seat is included. Canceling stops the renewal, not your access. You keep Plus until the end of the year you paid for. You'll find both under Profile, in Plus membership.
